This exhibition will be held at the Paris Japan cultural center in Paris from September 3 until September 14.
Ms. Nishi used a grass cut piece which was produced by the Japanese traditional grass cut artist, Shoho.
She combined lava beads which she found in her home town Kagoshima 2 years ago.
For the honeycomb piece, she set opal and champagne cognac diamond.
“I thought it would be interesting to combine the New York style with a Japanese traditional taste,” Ayaka said.
“Without covering much of it, I tried to set the grass cut piece beautifully on this piece of work.”
