Process of custom order




A customer submits a custom order request form through our website.

Please share your idea with us.(what kind of materials, what kind of stone, stone size, budget, when you want to receive this jewelry..etc) Please provide detail information as much as you can.We will reply soon.


Communicate more about order





We can exchange some e-mail and simple sketch or we can meet in person at our studio.If a customer want to us to source stones, we can communicate and give quotation of the stone as your request.
If the customer decided to work with us and want to develop design more, we request customer to fill out Custom Order Agreement form and we start developing design.We charge an initial $250 non-refundable design fee for all custom orders, which will be applied toward the final purchase. This initial phase includes consultation meeting(45 minutes online or in-person or some email exchange conversations) and 1-2 rounds of design-ideas sketch. This design fee must be paid in advance before starting design.If you want to us to source stones, we can start sourcing stone.If you have your own stone, please give us detail information of the stone.



Show 1st round design-sketch



After collecting detail information about customer's request, we send the first round design-sketch.If the customer agree with the design, we can provide quotation and estimated production term.
If the design couldn't confirm with first round sketch, we do second round design-sketch.


Show 2nd round design-sketch



We narrow down design.If the customer agree with the design, we can provide quotation and estimated production term.If design coudn't be finalized in 2 rounds of design-idea sketch, we have to charge each design sketch fee $100 for after next each round, so please provide us your idea and information clearly as you can at the consultation and first round design. It helps to provide right derection.


Confirm design and start production



when we agree to the design and quotation, we provide a copy of Order Confirmation Sheet to share all design and quotation.we will collect a 60% depposit payment (which includes the $250 design fee) based on the estimate provided for the final piece of jewelry. With this payment, the client agrees to let me begin production of the custom piece.


Start production

We finally start making your order after receiving deposit.If customer want to check process, we can show sample product in brass.(this process is depends on the design.If the design is not complicated, we will make in actual materials.)

After comfirm the sample product and if there is not any change, we make same product in fine matmerials.

Engraving letters

If customer want to add engraving letters inside of the ring, we will do.

Complete jewelry / Customer pick up or ship to the customer

Jewelry finally completed.The remaining balance will be charged upon completion of the piece and approval from the client. (If customer request shipping, we give shipping fee quotation.)Written approval of receipt and satisfaction will be required upon receiving the piece. Jewelry will be shipped or providing after receiving the final balance.


After completed / resize and repair and mentenance

 

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate ring size prior to production. Pieces will be resized on a case-by-case basis depends on design because some design and materials are not allow to re-heat.Resizing comes with a flat resizing fee of $50 [platinum pieces require a $110 resizing fee]. Pieces such as eternity bands, intricate settings, or pieces featuring certain gemstones cannot be resized. Please allow 1-2 weeks for resizing. 
At the discretion of Ayaka Nishi, a custom piece will be repaired or replaced if any manufacturer defects are found in the first 6 months from the date of the purchase. Normal wear and tear and customer abuse is not covered under warranty.
