The SACH Young Leadership team in New York is hosting our second annual
‘Shop Your Heart Out’ (SYHO)
designer market fundraiser on December 3rd at XL, 512 W. 42nd Street.
This holiday season, Save a Child’s Heart Young Leadership Group will present
Shop Your Heart Out (SYHO) at
The Out Hotel, on Tuesday, December 3, from 6 to10pm, to support Save a Child’s Heart,
a United Nations’ recognized NGO whose mission is to improve the quality of
cardiac care for children in the developing world.
Join New York’s most unique fashion designers and top-brand sponsors for a night of shopping,
champagne, music by Sean Bee on turntables, and surprises to benefit
the life-saving work of Save a Child’s Heart!

program are coming together to create an unforgettably chic holiday pop-up boutique that will also benefit New York
Cares and serve as a collection site for their winter coat drive. This diverse group of New York fashion designers will
be offering an expertly curated mix of unique ready to wear, evening wear, swimwear, jewelry and accessories.
Bestow promises to be the premiere New York City destination for acquiring truly special gifts, in part because each
designer will be making a 10% donation of all sales to New York Cares. Participants in the DENYC Design Collective
include bustling local brands, such as Sarah Canner of Vespertine, Sunghee Bang, Anne Pachan of Cala Ossidiana,
Melinda Huff of Mirame, Thea Grant of Bazz de Grant, Sherita of Viscera NY, Angela Gao, Nzinga Knight, Sena Yang
of Sena, Auralis Herrero of Auralistudio, and many more. (Full list below.)
Design Entrepreneurs NYC is a free, executive-level program that gives selected designers access to top industry
executives and provides them with the skills they need to successfully run a fashion or accessories label.
A partnership between the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York City Economic Development
Corporation, DENYC is committed to New York City’s fashion industry and supporting these talented designers.
New York real estate company Stonehenge Partners is a prominent sponsor of Bestow, helping the DENYC Collective
secure the expansive retail space in the heart of the city at 15thStreet and 6th Avenue. Marketing Manager Lesley
Schultz explains why Stongehenge decided to become involved: “As the owner and manager of real estate properties
in Manhattan, it is our responsibility to showcase the talents of local artists and designers, who keep this city a true

About Design Entrepreneurs NYC
Design Entrepreneurs NYC (DENYC) is a free, intensive, “mini-MBA” program that teaches emerging New York City-
based fashion designers how to run and expand a successful label. Seventy design businesses have benefited from
the DENYC program over the past two years. They span a range of fashion categories, including accessories, shoes,
jewelry, children’s wear, men’s apparel, and women’s apparel.
