New York-based designer Ayaka Nishi is teaching jewelry making class in her studio, East Village, Manhattan.
Each class offers an intimate (only 4 students at a time) jewelry design and production experience.
Students will learn techniques in metal fabrication, wax modeling, stone setting, and much more from Ayaka Nishi.
Classes take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays and sometime Sunday morning.

Tuesday evening class(6:30-9:30pm)

Learn traditional techniques such as sawing, soldering, hammering, polishing,
and stone setting. Suitable for absolute beginners.
Intermediate Course

The perfect follow-up to the Beginner Course. In this class, students refine their skills and
work in more complex ways with silver. In addition, students learn wax crafting techniques
and how to cast parts. This class is suitable to anyone who has previous jewelry making experience.

Wax Crafting Course

Learn the age old technique of wax carving — a fascinating way to make silver and gold jewelry.
Bring your designs to life: carve shapes out of wax, create a mold, melt the wax and then pour
